Winter maintenance in your garden
You can carry out the following maintenance in your garden during the winter season:
Enter as little as possible
Walk on your lawn as little as possible in the winter, especially when it is frosty. This way you do not damage grass plants. If necessary, give your grass some extra care to prevent the growth of moss.
Prune trees, shrubs and fruit trees
Winter is the ideal season for pruning trees, shrubs and fruit trees , especially apple and pear trees. Note: never prune in frost or wet weather.
Beneficial to plant
Most trees, shrubs and fruit trees are dormant in the winter, making it very beneficial to plant them now. Make sure the soil can be dug up well.
Fat ball for birds
Also think of the birds: hang an extra fat ball in an accessible place.
