Pinkimono
Viburnum plicatum Pinkimono®, like its fellow Pinkawai, is a very compact Viburnum. It grows barely 80 to 100 centimetres high. The shrub has deep green leaves and sterile buds that bloom into large flat umbels with small fertile inner flowers. The beautiful flowers turn from pale pink to bright white. This Viburnum blooms from May to July, and sometimes a second time in autumn. After flowering, bright red berries appear and turn black as they ripen. It is a very rewarding plant - you don't need much maintenance.

Viburnum plicatum or Japanese snowball is a deciduous ornamental shrub with bright red berries and light pink to bright white flowers. The varieties of Bestselect flower very compactly, which makes them very suitable for public borders or smaller gardens.
Maintenance
Viburnum is a hardy plant that prefers full sunlight or partial shade. It is not very demanding but prefers a well-drained, humus-rich, mildly acidic to neutral soil. Because of its compacted growth it hardly requires any pruning. It suffices to remove dead branches in spring to keep the plant attractive and healthy.
