At the International Rose Competition in The Hague, our rose Bee Proud went home with the Gold certificate. In addition, Mel Bee and Bee Gold also won prizes with a certificate of 1st and 2nd class.
Bee Proud
Bee Proud is a special rose with striking multi-coloured flowers. The closed buds are red, the petals are orange to salmon pink with a yellow heart. The open flower has striking stamens. The shape of the petals creates a playful effect and gives the flowers an extra colourful character. Bee Proud blooms all summer long until late autumn and has very good disease resistance. The 'Bee' in the name Bee Proud refers to the special attraction that the rose has for bumblebees and bees. Especially at the beginning of the flowering, bees and bumblebees buzz around the flowers. Bee Proud is a "bee" special rose.
Mel Bee
Mel Bee forms large dense clusters with dozens of pink flowers and blooms all summer long until late autumn. Due to the striking flowering and continuous flowering, this rose is an eye-catcher in the garden. One stem of this rose forms a complete bouquet with pink flowers. Mel Bee is a very vigorous rose with excellent disease resistance. The rose does well in high garden borders and also in parks.
'Mel' in the name of the rose refers to the municipality of Melle where the rose was developed. 'Bee' in the name Mel Bee refers to the special attraction that the rose has for bumblebees and bees. Due to the presence of the numerous bees and bumblebees, the flowers buzz, especially at the beginning of the flowering. Mel Bee is therefore a "bee" especially bee-friendly rose.
Bee Gold
Bee Gold is a compact rose with light yellow flowers. Just like many wild roses, the flowers have only 5 petals, which gives Bee Gold a very natural look. The flowers stand out because of the eye-catching stamens. This rose has excellent disease resistance. The rose can be planted in the garden, in low borders, but it also does well in a pot on the terrace.
The first flowers of this rose appear early in the season. Bee Gold is one of the first roses to bloom. From the start of flowering, bees and bumblebees find nectar in the flowers of Bee Gold.
